Continental was founded in Hanover in 1871 as the stock corporation "Continental-Caoutchouc- und Gutta-Percha Compagnie". Manufacturing at the main factory in Hanover included soft rubber products, rubberized fabrics, and solid tires for carriages and bicycles.

The Challenge

Surveillance application to be implemented in the new plant requires SAN-based performance (high IOPS) in an extremely tight budget. Not only does it need to be fast, it needs to fit our physical constraints as well. Our traditional solution needed double the capacity (not including power draw) to deliver a fraction of QSAN XcubeSAN XS5200's performance.
