QSAN WORM, which stands for “write-once-read-many,” is a unique built-in protection utility that prevents data from deletion, modification, and ransomware attack by prohibiting both removal and revision of data once written. Western Digital Introduces Large-Capacity Models
WORM means fewer accidents of deletion, but also requires for a much greater expansion of storage since it generates more files during version control.
