QSAN Unveils J300Q Series Supports Windows Storage Spaces

Taipei, Taiwan, September 14, 2015 – QSAN® Technology, Inc. today unveiled its J300Q Series is certified for Microsoft Storage Spaces be able to help users reduce cost and increase flexibility.

Storage Spaces is Microsoft’s entry into the rapidly growing storage technology area called Software Defined Storage. By using commodity compute and J300Q DAS enclosures, users can construct their own SDS solution without being locked into proprietary hardware configurations. Users can easily scale a Storage Spaces storage array by cascading more J300Q enclosures, and the performance can be easily ramped up with the addition of SSD hard drives.
 
QSAN J300Q Series is designed for high availability, non-stop services, applications demanding high throughput, and flexible storage planning with cost-effective for small and medium businesses.
Meanwhile, J300Q Series supports dual active controllers with one 24Gb mini-SAS expansion port for input and one port for cascaded output per controller.
