By enabling Hybrid SSD cache, one SSD can provide both read and write cache to your entire system. This can greatly reduce the system configuration requirements compare to the SSD cache before.

QSM deduplication

QSAN deduplication technology bases on ZFS and provides inline, block-level function that checks the block similarity of data as it enters the system. Deduplication will automatically remove the redundant data object to reduce the usage of storage capacity. Block level deduplication is generally more efficient than file level one. Inline means that as the data is copying into the storage, the deduplication is processing the data in real time.

We leverage Hybrid SSD cache into deduplication and let the SSD do all the dedup calculation. By high speed SSD, the performance can be maintained at the speed of the SSD itself even after long-term use. Also you can use NVMe to provide higher speed deduplication.
